The Pilgrim's Progress

A book cover and spine for Jon Klassen's class.

One of my favorites! I wish I could have done a colored cover, but I ran out of time...actually, if possible someday I'd really like to do a series of Pilgrim's Progress illustrations. Weeeeeee'll seeeeee

also!
I finally joined the tumblr bandwagon, so now I am cool.
For the month of November I'm challenging myself to draw something I'm thankful for every day! we'll see how long that lasts

  1. oh! I loooove this cover! I don't think it needs colour really. the lines are very strong and the whole 'contraption' of his backpack is so interesting to look around and I love the text too.

What an awesome Pilgrim's Progress illustration! LOVE IT! I linked to you through Lizzie and the amazing sketch you did of her. LOVE THAT and now I'm loving all your drawing!!! I see you're a busy Cal Arts student, but do you do drawings for hire? I'm a photographer, but I'd LOVE to have a drawing of my family! You can email me if you so choose, at the address I'm posting with :) Have a Blessed day!

  3. And I think that this would be the coolest ever version of this book.
