Here are some drawings to theme of googie inhabitants--in other words some 50's inspired folks. I don't really feel like I got to explore it as much as I wanted to, and I'm still not entirely happy with these designs...but it was fun
Some 50's punks and their girlfriends (kind of). The redhead acts tough but he likes kind girls. Tall guy's girl is a smart cookie. No one really knows what she sees in him, since he's kind of dim. Fat guy thinks the blonde woman is madly in love with him. He is quite wrong.

ReplyDeleteYou have such a great range of shapes/silhouettes in the guys and girls and I love seeing their development. The little girl's poses and expressions are wonderful as well, you really get a sense of her character.
I'd love to see you do more with the 50s gang, how could such a lively bunch of individuals not get into trouble somehow?
